Sealing and expunging your record
A past arrest can follow you into job applications, housing, and licensing. In many cases Florida law allows a record to be sealed or expunged. Sealing restricts public access to the record; expungement goes further and results in the record being destroyed, with limited exceptions for law enforcement. We evaluate your eligibility and handle the petition from start to finish.
First-time offenders
Many non-violent third-degree felonies and misdemeanors qualify for Pre-Trial Intervention, and certain drug possession cases may be diverted to Drug Court. Successful completion can lead to dismissal of the charge. We pursue every available path to keep a conviction off your record.
